Well, just an updated on the broken eVGA cards. Managed to get a full refund. Well, I lost costs in the shipping. And dumbly, they credited $10 less than my original purchase price. So gonna ask them to credit that $10 or my credit company shall do the honors of handling everything else. :)

let me know if it is successful. I want to get back my money too. Now if there's a 15% restocking fee....nah, not worth it then.

Well, I am sick of this 6800 LE thing. GT with $50evga, doom3, farcry will be on its way soon! all for $25. I think I am just gonna sell all of them to recover my lost costs.

Racefan, I don't think it is computer related. I reinstalled my mobo drivers. It artifacts at 325/1100. But if I reduced it till 325/800, no artifacts. But as a whole, it feels way slow for a 256MB card running at 325/800. Something's definitely wrong with the parts. Viper87227, yah, that...

Did you have to personally work it out with Joe Darwin and email him? Or is the above standard deal if you have a bad 6800 LE for $25? that eVGA $50 credit only works for future purchases right? "plain 6800 with 8 pipes" ???? they clearly all say it is 16 pipes~!
