Consider that 1920x1200 is about 11% more pixels to manage vs. 1920x1080. Its not that big of a difference. If you want more fps most games have settings where you can adjust the performance of the game.

That would have been a good strategy for Oct~Dec of 2011. Prices have already went up. Not a lot but they have gone up. And deals for them are pretty rare now (apart from so-dimm) compared to the flood back then.
