most laptops requires the user to choose a monitoring device by pressing a function key+ an F key
to switch from your default monitor to an external monitor.Don't know which key but look into your manual and you should find it there.
well,there are a lot of good GeForce 2 GTS boards out there and they all cost almost the same.
I've got an ASUS V-7700 (32mb)and it works great,got it for almost $300 canadian.If you want
a cheaper board then go with a GeForce 2 MX.
try pulling out all unnessesary hardware that are not required for booting.With only your HDD
RAM,Videocard and CPU,power it up.If it OC then you'll know you've got a power problem.What speed is your CPU?
try and see,but don't insert the RAM ,if the notches on the RAM alligns exactly with the notches
