I know this sounds silly but - The only thing I can think of is that my nieghbors firewall - is making a distinction between XP pro and 2k users - That is the only thing that is different plus the xp firewall on my end - Have had no problems connecting to him before and my laptop sees the...

Dns seeting are set to automatically - Also I was able to ping the belkin server on my desktop... I think there is something that is either encryped or my firewall is still blocking something.... not sure...

There different - In both Belkin wireless utility - the one on my desktop is - client IP address - 192.168.0.6 - where my laptop is the same with 3 instead of 6 at the end... Belkin also said that it maybe a fire wall issue still - because I tried to ping their website and it did not go...
