Logitech sent me a reply asking me to try a different USB port or a different computer. I guess at least one person at logitech support can't comprehend, "the batteries are wearing out".

I've had a G7 since they became available and have used mine almost daily. I used to go almost an entire day without having to switch out batteries, now it is more like 6 hours or less between battery changes. It still isn't a big deal, but it will become a big deal if the trend...

There is actually one fairly good use for this card: Running a proxy hack for an online game without having to have a 2nd computer up and running. KillerNIC might come in handy for cheaters, if not for anybody else. :)

middle mouse button on the g7 can be a pain, its like you have to 'break it in'. I still prefer the g7, not sure if I even use the middle mouse button in any game as a button, I just use the wheel and the tilt, both of which work fine.

joysticks work fine. You have to do all of the bindings by hand in the bf2 controls subpanel. I'm using an x45, I'm sure the x52 works fine too, you just haven't bound the controls.

I'm more interested in TF2. I like how the mods Valve has acquired tend to slowly evolve, with continually updated maps, models, and gameplay. I think the stuff we see them doing with CS:Source and DoD:Source is great---note, I'm not some diehard clanner crybaby who gets his panties in a wad...

The door warping was fixed even before the new model revision, fyi. As far as video cards interfering with drives, I didn't see it in my build(2x7800GTX, 4x36GB Raptor, 2x74GB Raptor). The stuff fits.

I prefer quicktime over wmp, if I have a choice. I use VLC for standalone content. VLC has my favorite feature in a software product, "It just works." That is really all I want.

You won't be saying that forever, ratpads wear down. I've got a func f30.R 17"x11" which I replaced my wornout ratpad gs with. Now that func mousepad is one I can see using forever. It isn't wearing down, cleans easily, is nice and big, isn't so thick that the edge is an issue for my wrist...

I've got two 7800GTX and 6 Raptors in my P180. All of the drive slots are usable. As far as fans go, I'm using the three tri-cools that came with it and stuck another one up front. Using a scythe ninja on an fx-55, fanless. The rear fan and the top fan do a good job of pulling air right...
