yeah i just found that out after having purchased. Apparently you can fight Newegg for the $30 because their pdf clearly says ending 9/30 twice on it. But even at $215 shipped, a pretty darn good deal to me. sorry for the trouble though

    Intel G3 SSD's postponed till Febuary 2011?

then again, all of this is being based off the notion that it is, in fact, postponed. As fish pointed out, the author's credentials aren't really known (nor their review process lol). Has anyone been able to confirm/deny that it is postponed?

    Your 10,000th Which SSD Post!

hehe. i was just reading that intel pushed back the g3 release to february 2011. which means everything else cant come out till that point (patents or some such). sooooo I'd have to wait five months before any real price drops occur. also, from what I understand the performance wont move leaps...

    Your 10,000th Which SSD Post!

so I guess its now just depends on how long would I be waiting? The thing is, I really don't NEED an SSD. I WANT an ssd. I'm addicted to buying computer hardware, what can I say. So if I guess I just need to gauge how long I would be waiting, as a HendrixFan mentioned, for the 25nm?
