I got Weekend at Bernies and Don Juan Demarco. I can understand why these free dvd's don't have any extras on it, unless you consider previews a plenty, but they didn't even have Dolby Digital audio. They were also full screen.

I'm looking for recomendations for a good progressive scan dvd player?

can anyone care to comment or know any reviews available regarding this unit mainly for DVD playback quality? I rreally like the idea posted earlier of adding the wifi card and using it as a media server. i just bought a new hdtv and need it to be good component video output.

I've maybe looking to get this set. I've new to the HDTV scene. Right now I have Comcast digital cable. With this TV, what exactly will I need to receive HDTV cable channels? Will I also need to buy a seperate receiver? Different cable box? Does this TV receive HDTV from over the air signals?

Just curious, but where are those Sony's made? I know Sony CD's ade in Japan used to be TY's. But lately all I see are Taiwan ones.

Any idea which Taiwan company makes the Kyperemedia CD-r's? So far have had real good luck with this weeks RiData disks, which are Ritek.

Is there a specific type of packaging that is a best bet for the 100 cdr's? I read an earlier post opf there being several different packages of those disks.

so are these cdr or cd-rw's? The sku given in the original post shows them as cd-rw's.

Whats the deal with the 100pk cd's? Using the sku given, they show as a 100pk of CD-RW's. Would be a killer deal for 100 rewritables free AR. Anyone have any history with this Ridata brand? Probably just cheap Taiwan crap but for free AR not bad I guess.

Isn't this the same CDR deal that they had on Sunday one day also? If they are indeed the Memorex that I picked up Sunday, they are made by either Ritek or CMC Magnetics. The way to tell who makes them before buying, if you have a preference, is looking at the copyright date on the label. The...
