Agree with Kooldrew. High intensity stuff shouldn't be done anymore than twice a week and you also want to be keeping the rep range low while keeping the load up. No need to over complicate things
Nothing wrong with the steak but you should try looking up some variety. Could you not try getting your protein from other sources, such as eggs or beans before you go to bed. Also try snacking on a handful of raw nuts a couple of hours before bed mightn't leave you so hungry.

You should also be sure to incorporate intervals into your workouts. For example go on the bike and go hard for 30 seconds then easy for 30 seconds for 6 - 8 reps, this is much more beneficial than long slow cardio and will help to rev up your metabolism, it only has to be done 2 - 3 days a week...
4 - 5 days a week. If your training at home you just need a couple of dumbells and a bench, there is loads of stuff you can do with them as well as bodyweight stuff. From my experience the big home gyms with all the cables and rubbish, are a waste of money
