I too started to see these DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL BSODs generated by NVNRM.SYS after upgrading to Forceware 6.39. I could not even play HL2 as Steam would BSOD every time when it started up!! The culprit appears to be the new ethernet driver (v4.68 I think) in the 6.39 Forceware...
