Intel over AMD, the Northwood is an amazing chip.... it has been clocked at 2.6 with no extra cooling, if you want to overclock go northwood... it might be a little pricey but it will last a while! Also... its been clocked at 3.6 (but that was with liquid nitrogen). Finally... if you do decide...
