I've been using the 3225 since last XMAS. It was a gift purchased from Costco. The packaging was different from what you described, there is a female threaded connector on top of the unit for an external antenna (even though no antenna is sold by Magellan) and there was no CD as some other board...

If it's a threaded female connection, then it's a connector for an external antenna.

I placed the 6 Million POI file for uploading on Limewire. The name of the file is 6M-US48_POI.POI Do a search using "Magellan 6 Million POI's (188.8 MB)"

The file is too big to send you via e-mail. It's about 193Mb. I'll see if it can uploaded to limewire.

It takes a while to load the big file. It doesn't go away at all?

I have the entire 6M POI's in one file for upload to AnandTech to save users time in creating the file using the two RAR files. Do you allow uploads?
