ugh, just posted but it didnt come through anyway, i have a radeon 9600xt vid card i know someone that wants a mobo+chip for about 100 i figure they could get the 2400+ and i could get a 2.8E with a mobo for 80$ more i believe the 2.8E comes with a a ecs mobo, which isnt top of the line...

Would the intel 2.8E be a noticable upgrade from a 2400+?

i was thinking for things like internet use, games, and running things in the background such as music. and should go with a athlon xp 2800+ over the intel p4 2.4a? the athlon64 seems to be a lot more money

which of these r better? from what i have read, the 2400+ isnt overclockable would there be a big difference between them? (with the 2.4a overclocked or stock)
