Ok .... my new card came in today ... it's a Chaintech 6600GT (read Chaintech is not having as many problems as other brands).......... So far the card is running fine. no problems yet...... I just loaded HL2 and will test the game now ..... Hopefully, all is good.

I just updated the BIOS ..... no luck ..... When my computer boots the text and images move across the screen so slow ..... The OS won't even load most of the time. The computer runs fine on a regular PCI Card though ..... I wonder if I should go with the x700 card.
