I hate spam as much as the next guy, but isn't there a certain risk that those anti-spam programs when installed accidentely delete important mail? I'm not sure if I dare to use them.

yup for windows xp i mean. im getting a new pc and will install a lot of stuff from scratch so i want to find some usefull and good programs =)

there's a lot of software out that, a lot of small utils etc that I've probably never heard of but maybe you find you can't do without because it's so good... what software, small utils, popupblockers etc do YOU use daily or from time to time and like to recommend? thanks for any tips on good...

yes it looks like this is it. what happend was that i tried to shut off the pc one day and it took forever and i was in a hurry so i used the switch on the back to turn it off immediately. the next day when i started it it didnt find the profile and loaded up win xp and everything was blank, all...

for movies I will use my dvd-burner so i doubt i will be using the pc much. but maybe that's an idea, i buy a "normal" motherboard and a cheap passive graphicscard, should be about the same money as the most expensive vga mobos... or maybe not? not sure what the benefits would be either... hmm.

When Windows XP is loading it doesn't find my "profile" - meaning everything i configured, cookies, my desktop, my e-mail etc is gone and it started from the beginning. And everytime I turn it off it does it again! Any ideas how I can get it to find my previous "profile" and get it to work...
