    I unplugged the EyeTV USB device, removed the sleepenabler.kext, and rebooted -> the system did not sleep properly. The fans stayed on, and I could not wake the system up. This is the same behavior I see when the EyeTV is plugged in.

    Hmm. Specs - GA-G31M-ES2L / E5200 / 2 Gb RAM / 1TB WD / 9400GT / Samsung DVD-RW / Antec EA380 / 10.5.8 Extra hardware - EyeTV (USB) / Apple remote sensor (USB) Also using it as a media center, and working very well other than sleep.
