check the creative website. theres a proggie (MTP i believe) that i use which allows me to look into the player like in windows explorer. i think u need to upgrade the firmware on ur player though.

well what i did was underclock my ram from 200mhz to 166mhz. it works but im not happy about accomadating my motherboard like that. im thinking of bringing this in to frys too but i think by now its way past the 14 or 15 days. u think they will still take it/

um maybe ur northbridge is overheating or something else is overheating?

i had the same problem, the first way i fixed it was to install drivers evertime i started up. the way i finally fixed it was to install the nvidia drivers from nvidia and then it worked. hope it helps!

diagnostics... if they charged u the price of a new board, im guessing they just said it was broken...

yeah some other forums are saying that there are conflicts between the onboard sound card drivers (realtek?) and video cards (mostly ati). would getting a new mobo be the only way to fix the problem?

lol i joined these boards just because of this topic. i have a similar problem with the same frys combo AMD x2 3800 ecs nf4-a939 ocz 2x512 ati x800 xl maxtor 200gb antec smartpower 2.0 500W i can use the computer, but i would get a bsod when i was 5 mins into battlefield 2 game...
