Hey there, just curious if anyone's used the Touchstream brand of keyboards before. I've not seen any reviews up for them, and would like to get to hear some feedback on them before I plunk down $300 for one...

Can anyone recommend a good mid-range text for someone interested in picking up Scheme/Lisp as a programming language? I have an introductory book that was used for my college course, but I'd like to get a little more in-depth. (GUI/interface programming) Thanks!

Go for a Geforce 3 ti 200, the prices should be dropping very soon with the Geforce 4s taking hold... Try the forums for some deals there. Ram is dirt cheap, esp. the stuff for the older boards, see about finding 256 or 512 to put in. (Can't help you on the cpu/mobo, IBM & Celerons arn't my thing)

Whats the ambient temp in your case like, and how much room for airflow is there?

just drivers, I'm using the correct ones, installed in safe mode. It tends to hang on the Gameport installation, the SB 16 emulation, and the creative multimedia interface... (Ideas?, thoughts?, please let me know...) Drachnyan

What's the CD surface look like? Is it scratched up? Have you tried copying the CD to a new disk, or to your HD for installation purposes?

I recently snagged a SB live from the for sale forums, the only hitch was it didn't come w. the driver cd. Pulled the latest drivers from Creative's site, and have not been able to get the effin thing to work. Has anyone else managed to get an install w/o usin the CD? Or do I need to go find a...

I am assuming that you've checked the PS and made sure you've not fried it.

Just looking around for a mobo for a friend who doesn't have the $ for a full setup. Hopefully the integrated video can be switched over to an AGP slot, so a proper vid card can take the load when they can afford one. Any suggestions?

I was just wondering if there was anyone in the forums who could lay claim to either attempting to, or succeeding at running a peltier/watercooling system on their video card.

the tim should be ok for normal (non-oc) use, however it's a 1-shot deal and it'll run a little warm.

Barring anything else, you'd think that they'd be gracious enought to give out something resembling a release date... It also seems to me that abit may be getting a nice bit of biz since they're the only ones who will be able to put out a kt133a board in anything resembling a reasonable amount...
