What's the top gaming LCD at the moment, that is generally available? The list in the OP has Samsung SyncMaster 2233RZ and LG Flatron L227WTG-PF as #1 and 2, but those seem to have been out of stock everywhere for some time.

Is the ASUS VK266H the current go-to 1920x1200 hardcore gaming monitor at the moment? Is there a recommended 24"? I looked through the Hardcore Gaming list, and the two models listed above it were no longer available anywhere (BenQ G2400WD and Acer G24). Looking for something under 400-500.
