correct... ati WILL NOT accept 3rd party cards. they will only accept card made by them ie ATI OFFICAL PRODUCTS. Saphhire cards only use the chipsets from ati therefore like the other dude says return it to saphhire... Goodluck.

I think the card is duff then... i got a return number from ATI today. will send back after xmas. as they are now shut until 6 jan 06. i will await the new card and will then update you all of this has sorted the problem if not then something more sinister is going on! =)
