That's the other thing that bugs me ... the monitors were new with mfg's warranty but when the monitors went in for service they came back as refurb'd monitors with different serial numbers. One of them was a different model even.

Having a hard time getting an RMA from Acer. Purchased a batch of Al1715's and 2 have come up with green vertical bars. After a long hold time I had 1 replaced. The the second has been RMA's twice and it's still bad.
What do you think the next step is other than go ballistic on them?

I'm having a hard time getting Acer to RMA my monitor. My company, small as it may be, ordered several of the AL1715's. We have had 2 with a green vertical bars and now one of the refurb replacements cannot be made to display colors an any sort of normal fashion.
