My main goal is to overclock, which is the reason I went with higher end parts. I just wasn't sure if what I picked was a little to much. I know sometimes going with higher end parts for the price isn't worth the minimal gain you might see with a lesser part at a better price. I was going to...
I'm looking from some of your thoughts on my new pc build. It will be used for gaming only. I will be overclocking. I have a budget of 2K, but would like to keep under that as much as I can. I put together a list of parts. Please let me know if any of this is overkill. I want the best bang...
Thank You Very Much UsandThem!! I found a mobo on ebay. I going to see how the video card I have works for now. But just in case, can you suggest a video card that would work great and better then the one I have and not break the bank?
Ok, I'll look around for a board. Will the video card work for most games if not running on High video settings? I'm giving this system to my son for the time being. He wants to save money and build a new gaming pc. But that wont be till near the end of the year. So I don't want to sink to...
I need a little help please. My pc has been down for a good 6 months if not more. My mobo needs replaced but I'm not sure if its worth it. That's why I came to you guys. Is the board worth replacing and if so, will the system be good enough for gaming. If it is worth it, which board should...
Thank You Very Much for your feedback! Not real sure about the motherboard, but I changed it to a Gigabyte GA-B250M-SS3H. Also changed the GPU to the Sapphire Radeon RX 480 8GB Nitro+ and the PSU to the EVGA SuperNova G3 550W 80+ Gold. I have one other question. Should I spend the money and...
I'm building a new pc for gaming and some video editing. I was hoping to get some feedback and help from you guys. I have a list of parts put together. I would like to stay around a $900.00 budget. Any and all help would be appreciated. Parts will be bought in USA, want to run 1080p...
Thank You Very Much Guys. I think this is what I'm going with, unless someone says otherwise:
Combo: Motherboard + Ram = $294.98
*GIGABYTE GA-P67A-UD3-B3 LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel
*G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)...
Not sure of the monitor resolution. If I have to I will get a monitor that will support video card. I would like to use XP Pro, but I Windows 7 64bit if I need to use that.
