i live in california, and i'm wondering if there's any law that allows employees to take off x amount of hours to go vote without being docked pay or paid time off. (my situation is unique, as i'm working until 9 pm (polls close at 8), and can't do it before work.) any thoughts? tia.

we do use ad, exchange 2003. i'll find out what (if any) errors are being recorded in the logs, but i'm not sure if there are any.

we're having major problems. have tried all of the updates, all of the spotlight suggestions, and still we have people who get repeated spinning beachballs while doing anything in entourage at any point. it seems totally random at this point, and neither microsoft nor apple is offering a fix...

sorry, i should have also said that i don't want to get a second transmitter for my laptop (first being 802.11g). when i had a desktop, i used the same x10 stuff with mixed results.

i like to sit in my living room with my laptop. why would i want to pick up a remote control when i can use my computer? the squeezebox looks nice, but all i really need is a wireless replacement for a cable that would connect my computer to my stereo, and i don't believe my best solution...

i'd be happy with the airport express (even though i don't need the extra functions), but it only plays itunes. anyone know of anything similar? thanks http://www.apple.com/airportexpress/ (just for fun)

sorry, i think i wasn't clear. i'd like a palm-based pda with a keyboard, and the only one i can find seems to be the last one palm will make (it's their only and oldest pda). tia.

the way it looks now is that only palm makes pdas running palmos, and just one of them has a built-in thumb keyboard (and it runs an older version of the os). if i'm wrong, can you post others? thanks
