    Solved! Seasonic M12II EVO (520W) for a GIGA-BYTE Z390 UD m/board -- Q about 4-pin ATX 12V power connector

Judging by the replies here and here, it sounds like this connection is unnecessary in many cases. I'm just going to get an i5-9400F, so I think it should be fine.

    Solved! Seasonic M12II EVO (520W) for a GIGA-BYTE Z390 UD m/board -- Q about 4-pin ATX 12V power connector

I have an existing Seasonic M12II EVO (520W) PSU and I'm considering purchasing a GIGA-BYTE Z390 UD m/board – will it work? How do I connect the 4-pin ATX 12V power connector? Is the PSU missing that?

BOOT_DEVICE_LED on Asus Z97-A staying on – what does it mean?

I think at the time I was just in the BIOS, wondering what was going on. I think it went off before I started the Win 7 installation, but I'm not sure. Anyway, all is good for now. Thanks. =)

BOOT_DEVICE_LED on Asus Z97-A staying on – what does it mean?

I just built a new system, and I can access the BIOS without issues (although at one point it froze for some reason), but the BOOT_DEVICE_LED is staying on all the time – what does this mean? I had 4 devices connected at first: SSD#1 - new/unformatted SSD#2 - win 7 + another partition...

New build after 5 years – need some advice please

True. I like to stretch my budget a little so that the system will last as long as possible. I also prefer to select the components myself.

New build after 5 years – need some advice please

CPU - It feels a bit weird getting a server CPU for a desktop, plus the extra expense, so I think I might just stick with the i5-4690. M/board - I'm not a huge fan of ASRock (probably for no good reason though), are there are any (full ATX) Asus or Gigabyte options? RAM - I have 4GBs now...

New build after 5 years – need some advice please

Hey, I guess about R10,000. Initially I wanted this to include a new monitor, because I thought that LED backlighting might be better for my eyes, but after some research it seems that it may be the opposite, so I will stick with my current monitor for now. This means that I have a bit extra...

    StarCraft 2 @ 1920x1080 ... what do I need?

I want it to run well, not "fine with some lag". ;) I also want high or ultra quality, which I'm pretty sure you won't have with your IGP. :)

    StarCraft 2 @ 1920x1080 ... what do I need?

It is if you have a really crappy card. :D I guess I could OC if I got desperate. :)

    StarCraft 2 @ 1920x1080 ... what do I need?

Yes I have, that's how I knew I needed an upgrade. :) It recommended medium settings, but I'm not happy with the graphics or the performance. That's true, and I hope that I won't need a CPU upgrade at this time. Do you know if it's possible to view CPU usage while playing? Thanks, I did just...
