I just got my parts:
XP2100+ (0301)
Epox 8RDA+
OCZ 512MB PC3200 EL DDR
Thermalright SK-7 W/ Thermal Take Smart Fan II
I'm a newbie to overclocking and have been messing around with the multiplier, fsb, mem timings, and voltages.
The question I had was, in BIOS settings my VCore is set to...
I am building a new system with a XP2100+ that I purchased from newegg.com to go with my new motherboard, Epox 8RDA+.
For cooling I got the Thermalright SK-7 heatsink with a 80mm ThermalTake Smart Case Fan II to go with it.
I also ordered an Allied 450W PS as well.
Now, all I need is to...
I took your recommendation and went ahead and purchased the Allied 450W for $46 shipped at newegg.
I read the customer reviews at newegg and everyone loved it, so, what the hell, can't go wrong for a 450W at that cheap of a price.
As for the case, I'm gonna have to go with a steel one, as I'm...
I am building a new computer and found a good power supply pretty cheap.
Its an Enermax 350W EG365P-VE for $32 + S&H.
Will it be good enough for me to run my system with a Overclocked 2100+, 120GB 7200RPM HD, 2-3 Fans, 1 CDRW, 1 DVD, and a powerful video card, currently looking at the Radeon...
Another question about which case to get.
Should I get an aluminum case or will a steel case be good enough.
I saw this one: http://www.buyxtremegear.com/chiefsxcaswi.html
A Chieftec case for $35, pretty good deal.
Or should I spend the extra loot and get an aluminum case.
thanks guys for the help and advise.
I'm goin go with your advise about the fortron, and pick up a 350W, possibly a 400W, but don't really want to spend the extra money as I don't think i really need it since I'm not really going to OC the hell out of the chip or anything and I'm only gonna run...
I have read a lot about the XP2100 Thoroughbred Rev B that newegg is selling and how it is really good for overclocking. I already have an XP2000 but not overclocked, and figured it would be a good idea to upgrade to the 2100 and overclock it to over 2Ghz.
I have not overclocked much before...
I also got the Sanyo 5300 price matched at Circuit City, but not with the 50% deal becuase it excludes the 5300. Instead, Best Buy is selling it for $299.99 after $100 IR. So Circuit City pricematched it, and I got it for $289, which is a pretty hot deal as well.
I can't speak on the LG 5350...
The promotion includes all phones EXCEPT:
Sanyo 5300
Treo
and Sanyo I300 or whatever its called
And once again, YMMV becuase it depends on the representative and if they go ahead and assume that Best Buy is carrying the phone for $199.99. They already know about Best Buy's 50% deal currently...
yhea, Radio Shack does have it for $49 with no rebates, but thats only for NEW CUSTOMERS. If you an exisiting customer, Radio Shack won't give you the $100 instant rebate, so its $149.
My way, you can get it for $89 with no rebates, and it works with EXISTING CUSTOMERS.
Best Buy is currently running a promotion where you buy any phone except a couple exclusions with 2 accessories for $9.99 each and get 50% off the price of the phone.
Well, Best Buy doesn't carry the LG 5350 anymore or at least not at my local BB.
I went to Circuit City today and told them...
Can someone tell me what a "one-time credit card" is.
I have a Discover Platinum and a Kmart Mastercard. Is either safe to use for ordering? Am I protected with these cards?
Thanks
I just called that Sprint number to hear the offer for myself. I still didn't hear anything about exisiting customers. It said that the rebate is only good for new Sprint numbers.
I'm looking to sell my Sanyo SCP-5150 to get a new and better color phone. If anyone knows of any deals for Vision-enabled color phones for under $100 for EXISITING CUSTOMERS, please post. Thanks.
