I will try this. You think it's possible the board could be fine? What does resetting the bios do exactly? Can resetting bios actually fix a board that is not posting?
I guess what I'm trying to say is, just because a board is not posting, does not neccesarily mean its a bad board?
Oh and the fans never shut off or anything like that...everything powers up and remains powered just fine, just no display or beeping, no bios or windows.
I did remove the cmos battery for about 1 minute then placed it back....still no beeping or display.
My components are
Mobo: Asrock Z97 Extreme 3
CPU: 4790k Devils Canyon
GPU: 980ti evga
PSU: COrsair 850 watt
Memory: DDR3 Corsair Vengence
CPU cooler Corsair hi100gtx
etc etc.
Yup 8pin CPU power was defintley connected, checked multiple times. All wires were properly connected. I mean, the computer was working fine....now it won't post. Was it a safe bet to assume it was the motherboard? I already ordered a new one going off this assumption

I built a new computer yesterday, and it booted up just fine, installed windows and started playing games at max settings, it was awesome...
