    Resolution problem...

I just got this lcd as a hand me down from my dad. Everything on it is fine except for the fact that everytime I turn on my computer the resolution goes back to 1152 x 864. It's getting a bit annoying having to put it back to 1280x1024 everytime I boot the computer up. Any ideas why...

    Syncmaster 731B

I'm looking into getting an LCD monitor (17"), and was curious if anyone had experience with this particular model. I'm not finding much on it here or at newegg (they don't even carry it).

    A Fortron PSU

What about their cheaper 450W version? Any opinions? The price makes it seem a bit too good to be true, you know? Link.

    Power Supply Choice...

Right...that's the 500. I've considered the Fortron AF 450...it's dirt cheap. I don't know, though...I have a hard time believing that it's any better than the Antec TPII 430.

This one? I don't think they make a Blue Storm version, do they?

    Power Supply Choice...

Just for kicks...would you choose a Fortron 400W over either of the two choices listed in my first post? I'm running an Antec 350W right now. It's running my system without any problems so far, but I know it's right at the minimum you'd want to use. Plus, it's 20 pin, and I'd feel better...

    Power Supply Choice...

Nice, for sure, but still more than I'm wanting to spend.

    Power Supply Choice...

I don't want to spend more than 70-75, really. Antec, simply because I've always used them without any problems, and they fit my budget. I wouldn't be at all opposed to trying out Seasonic, etc., but the price difference isn't worth it to me. Epox 9npa+ultra 3200+ 1 GB Corsair Value...

    Power Supply Choice...

Before I present the choices, understand that I'm getting an Antec, regardless. No Seasonic- pimping, PC&C-toting around here, please :) That said: Antec SP 500W or Antec TP 430W? They're both plenty to power my machine, and fairly similar in price (although Newegg has a rebate on the...

Still not sure which motherboard to get

I've got the 9NPA+Ultra. I've been pleased with it so far. There's a lot of stuff going on right now about USB issues with the board. So far it hasn't been an issue for me except for my scanner. Every time I hook it up, I get a BSOD followed by a reboot. Oh well...it's a cheap scanner...

EPoX "EP-9NPA+Ultra" NVIDIA nForce4 ULTRA Chipset Motherboard

I installed this board tonight, and everything has been great, EXCEPT: I have a HP USB 2.0 scanner, and everytime I plug it in to any usb port on the board I get an endles bsod -> restart loop. Argh! Everything else has been flawless... :( I've tried changing the usb to 1.1 in the...
