Yeah. Thanks. Im still trying to find evidence that Compaq really has a Slot 1 SW III LE-mobo. I sure hope its not Slot 2. But my friends slot 1-processor shouldnt have fitted then :P

Ok. Im pretty sure that I get one with the motherboard. But is it needed for Slot 1 then? Not Xeon or Pro. If I need one, do I have to have two for dual?

Thanks for the answer! I appreciate it! I will just have to try then. Im pretty sure that it is Slot 1. On Compaq's homepage it says that it uses the Pentium III, not the Pentium III Xeon. This VRM, whats that? :)

I'm loking for processors for my Compaq server-mobo with dual slot 1 and Serverworks III LE-chipset. It doesnt say anywhere if it supports P2, but the chipset itself on different mobos seems to support P2 Xeon, P3 Xeon and P3. Maybe the P2-support isnt official, but will it work? Please help! :)
