A. I doubt you even know "many many people", let alone many, many people who buy video cards
Response: I never said many many people, I said many people.
B. Judging a brand by it's cheapest crappiest card is ridiculous
Response: When a new generation card can't play Tiger Woods Golf without...
I am about to buy this 9800 pro, green board and a cool looking heat sink. On sale for $200 on zipzoomfly.com

It was a stupid purchase, but I bought it cheap because I was strapped for cash. I am not complaining because I bought a crappy card, I should have been smart enough not to buy it. The thing I am saying is that the FX series crashed and burned, and many people lost respect for nVidia. I know...
I think the only place where you can get a 128-bit version is on e-bay since Sapphire recalled that awful mess. Calling a 128-bit VPU a 9800 pro was just stupid on their part. I think Sapphire was the only one who released the 128-bit 9800 pro.
I am just saying when you come out with a new generation Video card it should be able to destroy the previously released cards. Especially in a technology market. The FX5200 and FX5600 are complete garbage and should not have been released. They should have just kept mass producing the Ti...
I for one will never buy a nVidia vPU for a long time after I got a FX5200. The card can not even play Tiger Wood's golf without skipping. I am getting a 9800 pro, because right now it is the best bang for the buck I believe. When a new generation FX card has trouble outperforming the MX...
I am about to buy a MSI 9800 pro. I just want to make sure that the brands that make the 9800 PRO doesn't matter that much. I know ATI has strict standards for companies making video cards. The MSI card is now $200 on zipzoomfly. Would it be worth $7 extra to get a Sapphire card?
you have a good power supply, sparkle is one of the most recommended PSU's out there. 300 Watts should be fine unless you have a 9800XT video card. Build with the 300 W Sparkle!
Here is the best way to remove a thermal pad from a heatsink. Take a string of dental floss (preferably mint flavored :) ) and run it between the heat sink and the cpu. This is the way I always do it!
