i ifxed the dual channel problem, dimm 3 has very long leads on the botom of the board , it was shorting , any one who gets this board should look out for this problem thankls the tips and help i'm going to run fsb ram clock at 1.1 now and see the performance diff

i did jump from a via kt33 board to nforce2 , so thats the problem ? i need a windows xp reinstall then?

i reseated the heat sink, temps now at 48 47 ish , and have fsb at 133 , but its still reseting right after the windows xp start up screen comes up any one have any ideas?

i just got my MSI nForce2|K7N2G-ILSR installed , when i power up it gets to the windows xp start up screen you can only see it for like a second and then it restarts the computer xp 1600 i have xp 1600 aiw 8500 video card two hard drives cd and a cdrw i have all the on board stuff pluged...

do i clean it off the just the heat sink or the heat sink and the chip? what should i use rubbing alcochol?

My MSI nforce 2 just came today an upgrade to my kt333 board , i was wondering it i need to clean if the heat sink and add new heat sink paste of could i just transfer it over as is , i dont have any heat sink paste so if i need it whats the best? thanks
