Does the printer have a memory card slot? My post times are really slow with an HP USB AIO printer (like maybe 1-2 minuites) as it scans the usb port and tries to determine what is there. I switched the PnP operating system option to off in the bios and that seems to have fixed things.

Mine will take nearly a minuite to post with an HP USB all in one printer w/ card reader. I changed the PnP bios setting to no and now about 10-15 sec.

Truenofan, This mobo has 2 internal USB and 1 internal Firewire. I've decided to sacrifice the rear Firewire and 2 USB ports in favor of the one on top. I'm just still not 100% sure on the case cable issues. Why splice in all the little connectors?
