    CPU. How fast can I go?

    I have an old Dell PowerEdge 2300 server. It has dual Slot 1 Pentium III 450Mhz on a BX chipset MB. The MB has a selectable DIP switch for CPU clock freq from 333Mhz to 450Mhz. It is set at the highest which is 450MHz. My question is can I upgrade to a 900Mhz CPU leaving the DIP at 450MHz...
