It's a 2001 GMC Savana 1500 SLT V8 5.7L It's a little too loose for my liking, so I ordered a new grommet. I've read some online forums regarding loose fittings and some suggested new grommet or electrical tape to make it more snug.

From what I've read, GM Vortec engines are notorious for their original cheap plastic intake gaskets. Over time, the dexcool coolant eats away at the plastic gaskets and starts to leak inside. Whenever I look underneath the van, I only see 1 or 2 drops of it. Sometimes I don't see the leaks...
