Yeah, delivery confirmation is an extra service that you can tack on to just about any shipping option (this is a recent upgrade since it used to only be for Priority Mail, but now you can do it for Media Mail, First Class, whatever) It is only about 50 cents to add on to whichever shipping you...
Here are some experiences of mine with the CSR's concerning this deal.
I have tried calling in the order earlier and the CSR's are all ridiculously clueless. I spoke to 3 different people and the first one was a total jerk! I told him that I couldn't find the $70 rebate and only found the $20...
How would one know if one would need a controller card? What exactly is a controller card? I was just going to replace an old Maxtor 5400 rpm HD that I have that is crapping out on me (though I have had it for about 5 years). I have a fairly new mobo that I bought about a year and a half/two...
You are quite lucky my friend. I have used about 10 of them in my universal TDK burner and I have only had about 50% success.. meaning I was only able to burn 5 successful discs out of 10, backing up 5 diff movies. So it may be that you will be paying $20AR for about 12 discs or so.
It didn't work. I didn't get any offers and it took me to the login page. I logged in and then I only had a choice to go back to my account, or complete cancellation. How long were you a member for?
I got the new TDK 440N that burns both DVD+RW and DVD-RW and I was wondering if anyone knows of good media that works with it. I tried the Samsung BeAll's that are supposed to be compatible with most drives, but it doesn't work with the 440N . Thanks for tips in advance!
I saw that one too! Unfortunately, Dell doesn't really post a model number you can search other sites for it with. All I know is that it is "Indi" and even searched the TDK site for it, all is on the TDK site is for +r/rw not +/-. So I don't know either! Are manufacturers usually late in...
If I could get one for as little as you did SimMike2, I would!
But the Cendyne A05's are all out at Officemax.com and Officedepot.com and Staples has it but at $299! I missed those sales back then and looks like Officemax.com and Officedepot.com wised up so that you can only get them in...
Though I don't have one yet, I have tried to learn as much about them as my meager mind can handle. :o) But from what I have read, I am not 100% either -r/-rw or +r/+rw is better than the other. But if I had to choose just one format, I am still leaning towards -r/-rw because from what I have...
Here are the specs on the site for this burner:
4X Max DVD-R and +R Write, 2X Max DVD-RW Rewrite, 2.4X Max DVD+RW Rewrite, and 8X Max DVD-ROM Reading
24X Max CD-R Write, 10X Max CD-RW Rewrite and 32X Max CD-ROM Reading
Conforms to DVD Specifications and DVD+R/+RW 4.7GB Basic Format...
I logged out of paypal and found a store that sold Computer stuff. I have been looking for a DVD Burner for some time now and thought I'd check it out. Some store called Monarch Computers and found:
LiteON LDW-400D : DVD + & - RW
Not the Cheapest at $330 I know, but it has potential of...
So the question is...
Anyone have one or have heard of Optorite? Are they good products? Is it another "Lite-On" like manufacturer that makes good drives but sells cheap?
What exactly is the "head" to be sent back and how abouts do you do such? As in, did you send the whole thing back in, or just contact them, etc? I have one and use it all the time, until one night I woke up to a clicking sound, smelt something funny and looked over at the heater which had...
