I was having a problem with only one speaker out of a 2.1 speaker set (not the sub), but I noticed that if I barely stuck the male end of the desktop speakers jack into the subwoofer female input (sub then plugs into computer back) both speakers would work...just not when fully inserted. SO.. 1...
