    Red Hat Linux 9 Locks up on boot up as gui loads? HELP??

    I am having the same problem i think. When Red hat 9 boots it gets all done with all the system checks and then it puts a small "x" on the screen for the mouse and then it freezes up. I can't figure it out and i an not very savvy with linux yet. Have you figured out how to get it working...

    How do I disable the onboard audio on my Iwill KA266

    I am trying to figure out how to disable the oboard audio on my KA266. I recently cleared my cmos and now windows has installed some legacy audio drivers and my sound card won't work. I can't seem to find a command in the bios to disable the onboard audio. Please help!
