In case someone is still viewing this, I took a C2D E6600 to 3.2 without turning off C1E etc on a evga 680i with voltage on auto. Unfortunately, when I played games, having C1E enabed wouldnt let my processor ramp up again and it forced me to play at like 1.8
I havent tried setting the voltage...
I see, so would a good recommendation be to get a filter for the side window fan, filter any other sizeable openings, and get a good fan controller so I can assure positive pressure? Is this what will keep the level of air coming in around the drives, etc down?
Well that's good, I'm so bad at using compressed air believe it or not : ) I always end up holding it weird or at an angle or something that makes a tiny bit of condensation come out so I'm always fearful of just frying am electrical component : ) So if going to take a stab at dust...
For those with a TT Tsunami, can you tell me if the case is completely sealed? In other words, are the side and front fans the only places where air gets in? I know air will get in through the miniscule places around drives, etc and that it's not hermetically sealed of course : ) But in...
That's what I thought, not that I have any use for gigabit ethernet anyway since I usually only have one computer : ) So you can play with the CAS timings? That's cool. I found some Mushkin memory that will run at 2-2-2-5 at 2.5v so will this board let me set all those timings? I have no...
From what I've been reading elsewhere, this board does not have gigabit ethernet, correct? Also, by no overcloacking options does that mean ram will only run at SPD and nothing else?
Ah, that's close to what I was wondering. In other words, is NCQ just an operational bonus when the drive is seeking or does it actually affect the manner in which data is stored on the drive?
I'm thinking about going micro atx but there are no nforce4 ultra uATX boards out now or for the foreseeable future. My current prospect is the ATI RS480, MSI has a board. I am also considering one of the new Maxtor DiamondMax 10 SATA hard drives for the system. Now, if I get this hard drive...
I was wondering if the Shuttle SN25P supports NCQ, since it uses the nforce4 standard and not ultra version of the chipset. I thought NCQ was standard to the native SATA that all nforce4 chipsets have but something in the techreport review made me think otherwise. Any thoughts? If the...
