I don't bother with any Maxtor or WD, a one year warranty is not worth it. I just had a Maxtor die right after the warranty expired.

I have the same problem only worse. I tried to use a wireless logitech keyboard/mouse. It failed and now the wired keyboard will not work at all. I have tried the keyboard on another computer (it works fine) checked connections (seem fine) but no power to the keyboard (no lights, etc.) Bios...
