OK guys Thanks for looking at my post but I just found the problem!!!
I have a SOYO Dragon and it was the SmartGuradian program that monitors the temperatures, voltages, etc... It was consuming
99% of the processor.. Damn.. I think that fixed it...
:)

This is a bit of a general question..
I recently built my first computer with a amd 1600+ cpu abd WinXp..
I have been noticing wierd behavior in Windows XP and the programs I run. There seems to be a second or two delay after I click and hit enter sometimes...
I was just using Microsoft...

Alright i did a search and now I see my total redundancy!!! Sorry guys, anyway I found a lot of links
in the already posted threads...
Thanks for the recommendations...
But I do have a new question.. What's with the .ISO files?? Are these files legal??? If they charge say $50 in the
store...
Im a looking to finally get a linux box running since I finally have a new computer and enough hard drive space.. Im not sure which one to get.. Im not really even sure the difference between them all..
That's true but whats the MAX current that it should be drawing???
I cant seem to find any specs on this type of stuff..
A multimeter will only tell me what it is drawing...
I here a lot of talk about fans drawing too much current for a 3 pin motherboard connector...
First, where could I find the maximum current draw for a motherboard's, dragon plus, fan bus??
Secondly, does anyone know if 3 watts is too much for the dragon plus??
thanks guys..
I have seen reviews with deltas on the swiftech and they did not make much difference as far as temperature was concerned .. Unfortunately i dont have the link for you...
Anyway, I have the mcx370 with papst, xp1600 and it runs around 37C
Well I just picked up a gainward gefroce3 ti 200..
Problem is I made the mistake of installing the gainward drivers. Somewhere along the line directx 8 got over written...
Anyone know how to reinstall directx8 from winXp Cd???
I clicked the reply button by mistake on the last message.. whoops
Still sounds wierd.. 85Hz shoudnt flicker.. According to the "experts", the human eye can not notice flicker with refresh rates of anything above around 75Hz..
Now I personally disagree with this because I have noticed flicker...
