AGP 8X Card and RAM upgrade - Asus mobo

The mention of the FS/FT forums is spot-on. I just picked-up an AGP 6800GS to replace a failing Radeon 9800 pro for my media server, a couple of weeks ago...for $17 shipped. There's a plethora of "old" stuff there to choose from, updated all the time.

What card to get? On a budget

Flip a coin, but your first thought might be to upgrade your system RAM first. 2GB w/W7U64 is a weeeee bit on the lean side.

sli gigabyte gtx 460s $360 before rebate

Damn fine deal. Wishing I hadn't already sprung for a pair of these a couple months ago, but then again, having a dead 8800GTX made it a necessity that I don't regret, performance-wise.

Time to upgrade-- But a little confused..

I think that a more relevant question was asked earlier and blown past: Which form factor is the PC? If it's the smaller of the two, getting low-profile cards are going to be the least of his problems. Getting a PSU rated higher than his current one, for instance, will be damn-near impossible...

Is replacing my XPS M1530 screen a job I can tackle myself?

Dell marks all of the lid/LCD components w/separate p/n's, and does not sell them as a combo item because of the many different configs/colors available. Replacing "just" the LCD is fairly easy once you have the front bezel off...it's just getting that bezel removed (without damaging it)...

    Which GTX 460 1GB should I get.

Ah yes, that's what made the deal even sweeter for me....didn't have to wait for SC2 to drop in price.

    Which GTX 460 1GB should I get.

Just my personal two cents: I have a pair of the Gigabyte cards in SLI, both mildly OC'd to 875 (didn't want to push the heat issue w/them being spaced so closely together) that run anything and everything I throw at them...quite beautifully. Either card is an optimal solution, but the other...

Printer suggestion needed - for individual printers in office

How many pages a month are they printing? For individuals printing 2000pgs or less a month, the Dell 1130(n) printers have been a favorite of mine. Fairly low-cost/maintain, and easy to network (assuming that a network-optioned unit is purchased). Under $200 makes it a good, cheap b&w...

4 Pack of Super High Resolution 6 foot HDMI 1.3v $9.64 shipped

These guys are also pretty decent, at $.99 for a 3-pack. http://bensoutlet.com/products/hdmi-3pack OOS right now, but they run this deal about every other week, and shipping is reasonable (about $5 IIRC)
