LCD rear projection looks better a real LCD..from the same company no less? I find that extremely hard to believe.
Any chance the fact that you own a SXRD plays into your opinion?
For many TV's with 1080p/24 support, this makes no difference. You need to have a TV which not only supports 1080p/24 but also avoids the 3:2 pull-down. However, I'd expect true 1080p/24 support to increase dramatically over the next year or so.
Point taken w/ respect to the improved scaler.
However, deinterlacing a 1080i/60 into a 1080p picture does not require upscaling. It only requires de-interlacing which is why the picture will look exactly the same. You will not see any picture quality improvement between the A3 and the...
I pretty sure the only difference is that the A3 does not support 1080p/24 which is also not supported by many displays and certainly not the OP's 720p display. Other than that, the picture displayed on a 1080p panel connected to either the A3 or A30 will be exactly the same. I don't see any...
It should not matter. You still end up with the same picture. Basically, 1080i as encoded by HD-DVD includes all the information necessary to display a 1080p picture, so long as your TV properly de-interlaces it.
Any new 1080p TV should de-interlace w/o a problem. You would have to find...
a 1080p display would de-interlace the 1080i signal to give the exact same picture. There would be no difference in quality. In your situation, get the a3 for now.
Juniors is not what it used to be. The last couple of times I've had it (most recently from the Manhattan location), it was noticeably inferior. They screwed something up. It used to be pretty damn good though.
Perhaps but diamonds are graded and priced on a scale. Therefore, for all practical purposes, a D color FL is perfect.
Besides, you are ignoring the most important aspect of creating a diamond. CUTTING and POLISHING. This has always been done by man.
Also, can you show me where to...
I have a 605 and I'm pretty sure you can pass the audio if you want to. It's turned off by default but I remember seeing the option in the menu system. I have not tried it though.
However, why pass the audio anyway? Aren't your speakers connected to the receiver? Why buy a receiver if you...
That's max. Plsama varies (as opposed to LCD which is fixed) and when claibrated, on average, would be about 1/2 of that.
I'd get the new Panasonic w/o question.
