Will a Socket 939 mobo with 1066mhz HT work with 2000mhz HT CPU's?

i would say it's good to go, i googled it and came to a shopping site that had the frontside bus listed as 1000mhz. So have fun building, and feel free to msg if u run into any probs.

Will a Socket 939 mobo with 1066mhz HT work with 2000mhz HT CPU's?

i mean two different companies as the processor "amd" and the motherboard makers. they always seem to list the specs different.

Will a Socket 939 mobo with 1066mhz HT work with 2000mhz HT CPU's?

the 2000mhz is actually a two way bus 1000mhz in both directions, and the 1600 is for older opterons i think that ran 800mhz both directions. So there won't be any underclock, its just two different companies with two different views on ht speed.

Please help me solve this mystery!

hi, just thought i would put my two cents in, i have the same board and have experienced the same issues while booting up. Nvidia's sata controller has some major issues, my problem was with maxtor drives and was pretty well documented on the web. I think your problem is very similar though...

    PC Problem

I just wanted to clear something up for you, even if you have 2 sticks of ram, if one of those go bad it will affect your system. Your computer won't just skip over the bad stick, it will still try to use it, and you will get errors from it. So it would be best to run memtest on it, or run 1...

why is one partition slower than the other ?

Well i've read recently, i think somewhere on the forums, the greatest speeds will be on the inner parts of the platters, and it gradually slows down as u move out. The other thing i was thinking is there is probably more than one platter in your drive and it might make a difference on how u...

    Strange Nvidia Problem

I looked up a few websites and the only thing i can see about the 6100 memory clocks is that it runs off the system ram. http://www.answers.com/topic/comparison-of-nvidia-graphics-processing-units , here's the link, if you scroll down it says that it's shared memory, So that would explain not be...

My PC has stopped working!? =(

i had similar problems occasionally with my a8n deluxe, every so often i would get an error that the ntoskrnl or some file was corrupt on boot up and all i would change is the sata port and it would just boot up fine.

    intel core commercial

Everytime i see the commercial, i just think why is this homely looking girl dancin around for intel. I really think they need to wipe out everyone who decided to make this ad campaign. It certainly isn't going to make me go out and buy intel, all it did was leave me scratching my head. Here's a...

Can't change frequency or divider in BIOS

i just looked around a bit and found this , i hope it helps. (Once you enter the JumperFree menu, the title changes to "Configure System Frequency/Voltage". As with most motherboards and of course ASUS boards in particular, extra options show up once you start changing values from...

Internet Explorer screwed, can't find solution

i would check all the options for IE, it sounds like something maybe turned off or not set properly. And try updating java, something might have gotten eaten up in there and now IE can't read it properly.
