I haven't had a problem with the OCZ on my A8N-sli system. Did you try using one stick of OCZ at a time? Maybe you have one bad stick.

I'm not sure, but I get the feeling that the HTT is rarely 100% utilized anyway at current technology (like SATA-II). Anyone else know for sure?

Antec Smartpower 350 watt PSU that came with my Antec BQE case. (I'm running a single 6600GT only, not SLI) The PSU isn't 24 pin, but I simply left the 4 extra pins open and had zero problems. No converter necessary.

It might be that people aren't paying attention to the HTT. You need to keep it around 1000 to keep things stable, which means lowering the HT multiplier when you increase the FSB.
