I'm working with an asus A8N-SLI premium board and just recently bought an opteron 165, 1.8ghz (like 3 days ago); for 151 bucks off of newegg (link).
I saw this X2 4200+ 2.2ghz processor just go on for 122.50 though (link)
The Opteron is 400mhz slower, but has a bigger L2...
My room is 12'x13' so I don't think I need the cables to be longer than 10'... should I just go with the cheapest ones then (i think that's the 28AWG)? Also do you have a recommendation for the HDMI switch box thing?
Also do I want the Ferrite cores and/or the net jackets?

Hey guys, I was looking to do a few things with some cables from monoprice.com (I was recommended to that site as a much better alternative to buying monster cable), but I don't know what to buy, please advise:
1. I'd like to hook up my DVD player which has HDMI out to my Samsung 50" DLP HDTV...

Lol that reminds me of a review I read where someone pissed off his deaf neighbor with his system. She couldn't hear it... but it shook all the pictures off of her wall ROFL XD

What is DAC? Sorry I'm pretty new to all this stuff. For the 1/8" mini jack RCA cable.. do I get that from Radioshack? Is there a good online vendor where I can get both digital coaxial and a 1/8" thing? Sorry if you guys have to hold my hand through this, I just don't want to buy the wrong...
