    There is a "Copy with Size" option on the device, which I am assuming is the root cause of the problem. I am playing around with it right now. My main issue however, is figuring out a way to reclaim the space on the hard drives that have already been affected by this.

    I'm on XP SP2. However, I have plugged this hard drive into a Win7 and Mac machine and each system does not display the missing space in their disk management areas. I had a guy here plug it into a linux box also and same deal. (I don't know anything about linux)
