yeah, i have optical audio out going to optical audio in on theater system. So without having to unplug stuff and get down behind the entertainment center every time i want sound out of my computer is a no go..lol im hoping for a simpler solution, though it sounds like it might be near...

not at all! No red dots in movies or TV. This ONLY happens with the computer (on dvi source) and yes it does have an optical sound out option...i just wasnt sure if i could get away with doing it the way i have now. do you think itll fix it? i know the chords are only about $10 or so from best buy
