XP home on my laptop, XP pro on my main rig.

Create a slide master. View > Master > Slide Master. Make all your settings there and they should default for you.

TiVo and Windows XP Media Center are two completely different things. You do not hook up a tivo to your PC. To get WinXP media center you have to buy a machine from Dell, Gateway etc
