    which P35 for E8400 (Gigabyte/Asus/DFI)

So my computer is dying (well I think the Powersupply is screwed, my other one got killed in a pretty bad electrical shock, I put an antec one and it seems to like to kill my system) So being a student on a budget, I'm salvaging parts from another computer that broke a while ago, and...

Does the BenQ FP241W/WZ/VW overscan over component?

Now after a lot of reading it seems pretty obvious that if you don't have the may 2007 firmware update it overscans over HDMI, and the may 2007 added an option to turn it off over HDMI. But I live in the Canada where we never recieved an option to turn off overscanning. But I don't really...

Need help selecting a 8-bit WS LCD!

I'm sad to say it, my 21" sony trinitron is dying :( sometimes when I switch tabs or just switch windows in windows, due to the color contract of some windows the image stretches in all directions and shinks for about 10 seconds then stabilizes. So I'm in the market for a new monitor. I'm...

*WhatEver* you do *Don't* buy a Sapphire! WithOUT *knowing* Their RMA Process costs $15

I personally wouldn't want you to use it again...because if your PSU killed it last time good chance it'll kill it this time too :s then you will have to do the RMA process all over again.

Is my PSU good enough to run a X1950 Pro AGP on my system?

So i'm quite tempted to pick up a X1950 Pro AGP right now. I've found a few used ones for sale for a good price, and an online store has one for a good price for the next hour or so... My current system is as follows Enermax 550W according to the sticker it has 1 12V rail but 36A for it I...

    Should I buy apoppin's X1950Pro?

Depends on your budget for the same 220 USD you can buy a 512MB 1950Pro in PCI-E, or if you wanted you could step up and spend a little more to get something in the Geforce 88xx series. http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?...VT80GGHF9&manufacture=XFX&promoid=1061 Like that...I'm not too...

    Should I buy apoppin's X1950Pro?

SickBeast: It depends...I don't know too much about optrons (or how powerful it is, I'm assuming it's at least eq to A64 3000+), but PCI-E is the way of the future, if you plan to upgrade your video card again in the future :( it's so hard to find an AGP card now a days without having to wait...

    Should I buy apoppin's X1950Pro?

Ah you have the 512MB version. This is the first time I've heard of any issues with Sapphire (looking at your other thread). that has me thinking if my enermax is enough to power one of these X1950 Pros it has 36A on the 12v but my vcore is maxed on my cpu (I also have 4HDs)

    Should I buy apoppin's X1950Pro?

No! http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?...F256DDA-R&manufacture=HIS&promoid=1061 You have 3.5 hours left! You will also want a stronger PSU! That PSU won't cut it on the 12v rail.

Need AGP card to replace aging 9700pro

I know I shouldn't be upgrading the old system now, but I just want to play some of my older games in higher res and with fsaa and af turned on. The most intensive game I've played lately is Quake 4, Fear, and Half life 2, those ran on low settings okay, anything high it would go pretty slow...

Need AGP card to replace aging 9700pro

I just did update. I have had the 2.8 running at around 3.2ghz for a few years now, at least 4 years! to be exact, the Bios revision on my mother board is from jan 2003 :P I bought the Athlon Xp2100+ back in 2001 or something like that.
