Not particularly, but I had not heard of Mountain House and was looking for something with a long shelf life, and figured MREs were the standby. I checked out MH, and it looked pretty good. Any other suggestions, anyone?

I'm talking about the stuff they originally sent me, of which I have some left from the original install. It's two years old by now, so I don't know if it is still effective.

Realtemp lists them as 88C and 86C. I'm gonna try to reseat it once someone tells me if I can use the same thermal grease or if I have to get new stuff.

Should I buy some new thermal grease? Or will the stuff that came with it still work?
