The new nVidia 8200 and AMD 780G chipsets look good for AM2 systems. On Intel theres the G45. Both are very good.

The G33, in the form of the Gigabyte DS2R, has been out for many weeks now and is approaching maturity. Its suprising that so few other manufacturers have used this chipset yet. Although Asus and MSI now have a board out. The performance version of the G33 - the G35 - is due out soon.

Wouldnt a board with a more recent chipset be better?

Are there any good overclocking Core2duo uatx boards apart from the Gigabyte G33-DS2R ?

Apparently Intel has retailers under NDA until June 4th. Probably why we havent heard much about these boards yet. I'm looking forward to seeing many more reviews.

I see Asus have put the 0505 bios back on their website. Is 0505 any better than 0401?

I'm using a pair of 1gb OCZ Platinum XTC pc6400 on the p5n-e. Running at 2.1V they manage 440MHz 4-4-4-12. Using the 7X multi on my CPU gives me 3080MHz. When i change multipliers to maximize my e6400 speed, the best i can get is 3300MHz (472x7) @ 1.45V. Of the few bios available for this...

I'm trying to choose between the same three boards. I'll be running an e6500 and hope for 450 FSB on air. Stability is more important to me than high OC.

Sorry if this has already been asked in this thread. I'm trying to choose a board. The P5N-e looks good. I'm hoping for 450MHz FSB and good stability on air. My other choices are a gigabyte 965P-S3 and an Asus P5B-E. I dont plan on using SLI and i'm not running RAID or more than 2 hard disks...

Do we now have a better idea of what FSB a typical P5N-e can reach? Reviews ive read reckon its around 450MHz. But many of you here have trouble getting past 400.

Have there been any other i650 based boards released recently that are better than the p5n-e?

So whats the verdict? Does BF2 actually run on a GF4 albeit with reduced eye candy?

Does the mobile A64 run at a lower voltage than the desktop version?
