I finally fixed the problem I was having. Thanks for the suggestions :)
Turns out it was indeed a BIOS incompatibility as I was able to boot using some generic 256MB DDR2. I then proceeded to flash up to F7 and my Corsairs now run without a hitch :D
Yeah I'm looking to borrow a stick of generic DDR2. Hopefully someone I know will have one.
